Vocational Qualifications Update

New Caravan and Motorhome - Maintenance and Repair Qualifications
 
The Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma in Caravan and Motorhomes Maintenance and Repair  (QCF) has been developed by the IMI Sector Skills Council in collaboration with sector specialists and awarding organisations to offer tailored maintenance and repair qualifications to the Caravans and Motorhomes sector.
 
These qualifications are mapped to the IMI's Caravan and Motorhome NOS , allowing those who gain these qualifications to demonstrate they have met the requirements for Occupational Competence.
 
Both C&G and IMIAL have expressed an interest in putting forward these qualifications for accreditation.

New Vehicle Valeting Qualifications
 
The Level 1 Certificate and Level 2 Diploma in Vehicle Valeting Principles (QCF) has been developed by the IMI Sector Skills Council in collaboration with sector specialists and awarding organisations to offer a Level 1 Certificate and Level 2 Diploma. This route has received interest from employers and providers, particularly those already offering Motor Vehicle, and is seen as a route to encourage learners into the automotive sector.
 
These qualifications are mapped to the IMI's Vehicle Valeting NOS, allowing those who gain these qualifications to gain the Knowledge and Skill in a realistic work environment. 
 
IMIAL have accredited these qualifications and C&G have expressed an interest in putting forward these qualifications for accreditation.
