NOS - Suites submitted for approval
National occupational standard (NOS) for suites recently under consultation have now been submitted to UKCES for approval.
These draft NOS, along with qualification structures detailing combinations of knowledge and performance that would be required for occupational competency, have been written for a number of job roles in the sector.
Once approval has been granted, work to develop new qualifications for the Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) will take place in conjunction with our Awarding Body Forum. This collaborative work has already begun with design and principle processes being agreed.
The revised Apprenticeship Frameworks (framework 5) will be based on these new QCF Qualifications.
