The Diploma Development Partnership for Retail, representing Skills for Logistics, Skillsmart Retail, Automotive Skills and Council for Administration, is pleased to announce the publication of the draft final Line of Learning Statement for the Diploma in Retail.
This document outlines the vision for the Diploma in Retail and is the result of extensive research with a wide range of employers nationally, higher education, further education, schools and other interested groups. The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority will be consulting on the Line of Learning Criteria during May and June 2008 which may result in changes being made to the Line of Learning Statement following this consultation. A final version of the Line of Learning Statement will therefore appear here by 31 July 2008.
The Line of Learning Statement is a detailed document written and owned by the relevant Diploma Development Partnership for a particular Line of Learning that outlines the rationale, vision and content at Foundation, Higher and Advanced level that should be contained as part of the Principal Learning component within the Diploma qualification. This document is intended to inform and guide the development of the Line of Learning Criteria.
