Sector Qualifications Strategy

Having consulted extensively with the industry, and having met the quality threshold set by governments in all four countries of the UK, the IMI is pleased to publish the Retail Automotive Sector Qualifications Strategy.

The Strategy has been developed with direct input from employers and trade & professional bodies within the industry and aims to address the difficulties and issues the sector has experienced around skills developement in the past. The Strategy will shape the development of qualifications for years to come.

The IMI is now beginning planning for the implementation of the Strategy through the development of country-specific Action Plans.

The IMI would like to thank all those who contributed to the development of the Strategy and who continue to contribute as the Strategy moves forward.
