Level 1 Award in Automotive Pre-vocational Learning (Qual No. 500/3573/3)
The primary purpose of this qualification is to provide an automotive pathway of specialist learning for the Foundation Diploma in Engineering.  It has been approved by the Engineering Diploma Development Partnership and the Sector Skills Council, Automotive Skills.

Level 2 Certificate in Automotive Pre-Vocational Learning (Qual No. 500/4370/5)
The primary purpose of this qualification is to provide an automotive pathway of specialist learning for the Higher Diploma in Engineering.  It has been approved by the Engineering Diploma Development Partnership and the Sector Skills Council, Automotive Skills.

Both the Award and Certificate offer learners the opportunity to broaden their horizons and explore automotive as career a pathway. Learners can choose from one of 5 routes, Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, Motorcycle, Body Repair and Refinishing.  It is ideal for both learners who enjoy a practical environment and those who are interested in pursuing a technical career within the sector.  Learners will also gain a broad knowledge and understanding of health and safety in the workplace and other skills associated with working in a garage.
