Kerridge Automotive Systems has become the first Dealer Management System provider to have its training programmes accredited under the IMI’s Quality Assured Awards (QAA) programme. This QAA status provides those who undergo training on Kerridge's Autoline system with independent verification of professional competence.
As the main division of Kerridge Computer Company, KAS trains nearly 4500 individuals a year from various sectors including: motor dealers and groups; commercial vehicle dealers; vehicle fleet, leasing, contract hire and car ‘supermarkets’.
Stephen Asprey MIMI, Marketing Director comments: “ Through becoming part of the QAA scheme, we hope to set a standard and elevate the level of confidence at dealer level.” He continues; “emphasis has been shifted away from the employer to the individual, giving them qualifications they can take with them wherever they go”.
Training is offered in five different areas: Dealer Accounts Administration; Vehicle Sales Administration; Parts Operations Management; Service Operations Management and CRM Operations Management. On completion, those certified are also eligible to apply for IMI membership, giving them further formal recognition of their skills.

It has training locations across the UK in Hungerford, Telford, and Glasgow and also provides on-site training. The fully integrated Autoline System is its most successful product , with 3000 installations across UK dealerships to date.
