IMI backs MechanEx 2004

Aimed specifically at vehicle technicians, MechanEx 2004 is a new exhibition which will cater exclusively for the needs of professionals working within the independent sector. The 2 day event, which offers free admission to trade visitors, will be held at Donington Park, Derbyshire on 11-12 February. Organised by Professional Motor Mechanic magazine, the exhibition will feature a range of seminars from leading automotive diagnostics expert, Frank Massey of Automotive Diagnostic Solutions, with attendance contributing towards IMI CPD requirement.

The IMI is endorsing MechanEx, as Stuart Brooks, head of public relations, explained:

"MechanEx promises to be a hands-on event for hands-on professionals, that is focused on delivering ‘best practice.’ As an association committed to raising standards through individual development, the IMI is delighted to endorse this exhibition, which will provide technicians with opportunities for improving their skills and knowledge as well as building contacts."

As a special deal, IMI members who attend a one day seminar with Frank Massey at MechanEx will receive a 3-month free subscription to his Technical Bulletin service.
