Technical Trainer / Developers / Authors 4x Hampshire / Dorset, 1x Midlands

A fast growing automotive technical training company with a reputation for delivering quality technical programmes to the automotive industry has a number of opportunities for contract based technical trainers, developers and authors to produce and deliver automotive technical training.

The main responsibilities of this role to include:

• Developing and delivering materials for automotive technical training via researching and accessing vehicle, engine and component information
• Producing high quality training workbooks
• Producing training support information e.g. instructor guide, slide shows
• Development of assessment knowledge and skills tests
• Make amendments to materials after client review
• Deliver or facilitation support of training courses, pilots, assessments, workshops and events
• Regular client communications with subject matter experts and contacts
• Report regularly on tasks and project progress with designated project manager
• Record and Manage own time and activity
• Ensure client deliverables and expectations are achieved in time and on budget.

Applicants applying for this role will ideally:

• Be proficient in use of Adobe desk-top publishing and presentation packages
• Present information that is accessible and user friendly
• Be capable of developing and providing input into course, assessment and module design
• Have knowledge and practical experience of working in a workshop environment
• Demonstrates knowledge of current vehicle technology
• Have good communication and presentation skills
• Competent in delivering assessments and qualifications, Training to Technicians and Trainers
• Hold a clean drivers license
