Allan Tyrer - Company Secretary and Finance Director

For the last eight years Allan has been the Company Secretary & Financial Director of the Institute of the Motor Industry, a professional association & awarding body for individuals employed in the retail motor industry.  The Institute is leading a campaign to improve the perception and professional standing of these individuals through the use of competence based qualifications linked to ethical behaviour. 

Allan originally qualified as a Chartered Accountant and for 14 years worked in public practice for a small firm, which offered accountancy, audit, insolvency services and financial advice.
