One of the world's leaders in driver safety and fuel efficiency, GreenRoad, has announced it has signed up as a strategic partner with RoadSafe.
Under the new agreement both organisations are looking to work together on a number of issues including a workshop on good practice in managing company drivers in London.
GreenRoad will also sponsor a special Prince Michael International Road Safety Award to recognise an operator using technology to improve fleet safety and efficiency.
RoadSafe is hoping to reduce road deaths and serious injuries through building partnerships between the motor industry and other organisations including traffic engineers, the police and road safety professionals.
Adrian Walsh, director of RoadSafe, said: "GreenRoad's customers such as the Ministry of Defence, Bunzl, Iron Mountain and Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions have cut risk as much as 93 per cent by changing driver behaviour."
He added that the changes in driver behaviour are making the roads safer while also reducing insurance premiums, fuel consumption and vehicle wear-and-tear.
