ACCREDITATION

The trilogy of new ATA Cosmetic Repair routes at last provides a means to proving current competence in a growing sub-sector of “Accident and Repair” and, crucially, represents an opportunity for organisations to be PAS 125 compliant to boot.

Demon performers

The event, hosted by "Dent Devils" at their Colchester HQ and training facility, was a great success. Our special congratulations goes to Gordon Coubrough and Phil Bush of "Dent Devils"  who were both successful in this inaugural assessment.

Steve Peck, Managing Director of Dent Devils, commented:

"We are delighted to have been involved in the development of this new ATA  route and are fully committed to raising industry standards.".

Following final consultation with The Industry, "PDR Technician" is one of three ATA assessed disciplines to be made available to the Accident & Repair sector by The IMI from December 2011. The others are "Cosmetic Repair Technician" and "Cosmetic Repair Senior Technician"  -  all will be tested and trialled at training providers including  S&B,  GTG and Thatcham.
