irtec

irtec is an independant accreditation scheme that assesses the competence of technicians working in the comercial vehicle, trailer and passenger carrying industries.

To achieve an irtec license, technicians must complete an under-pinning knowledge theory test and a practical assessment.

irtec-accredited technicians get a certificate, a license card and are placed on the official irtec technicans register. They also get a Halfords Trade Card!

irtec licenses are available in the following vehicle classes:

• Large Commercial / Goods Vehicle (over 7.5 tonnes)
• Bus and Coach
• Trailer
